The Witches Ball is back. The Hotel Lafayette is expecting your arrival. 

After more than a decade, The Witches Ball is returning to where the magic began, the historic (and infamously haunted) Hotel Lafayette!

This year, we’re turning up the heat with DISCO SINFERNO — a wicked collision of sin, disco, and fiery inferno.

Inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins and the feverish decadence of the disco era, DISCO SINFERNO invites you into a world of Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth, all with a devilishly glamorous disco twist. Think disco fever meets the underworld. Temptation, excess, glitter, fire, indulgence, and just the right amount of wickedness.

From 7 PM to 1 AM, the Hotel Lafayette will come alive with entertainment throughout the evening, including live music, DJs, performing acts, dancing, drinks, and more sinfully delicious surprises to be announced.

After a decade away, the spirits of the event are now returning… home. The Hotel Lafayette, known for its disembodied voices and footsteps, unexplained anomalies, and the notorious Crystal Ballroom Specter, is the perfect setting for this year’s wildly decadent Halloween craze.

Includes admission to Witches Ball 2026: DISCO SINFERNO. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bars throughout the evening, with 10 bars located throughout the space.

VIP – $120 (limited availability)

Of course, it wouldn’t be the Witches Ball without the costumes, “witch” are highly encouraged. Whether you’re inspired by one of the Seven Deadly Sins, channeling full-blown disco fever, arriving as something straight out of the inferno, or rocking your own Halloween creation, this is the perfect night to go all out in downtown Buffalo.

A costume contest will take place during the evening, so come ready to turn heads, raise hell, and compete for the spotlight. Prepare your best costume for the judges that evening for a chance to win over $1,500 in prizes.
